6TH GRADE BAND

The 6th grade band is where it all begins. Students, most with no prior musical knowledge, are taught how to read music, how to play an instrument, and how to perform in an ensemble. The 6th grade band performs at our annual Christmas and Spring Concerts.

What Instruments Do We Teach?

Students are able to learn one of the following instruments:

  • Flute

  • Oboe​

  • Clarinet

  • Bassoon

  • Alto Saxophone

  • Trumpet

  • French Horn

  • Trombone

  • Euphonium

  • Tuba

  • Percussion
